Artribune Travel's inaugural tour explores Rimini's cultural regeneration
Artribune Travel launched its first tour in Rimini, Italy, focusing on the region's cultural regeneration through art, design, and the legacy of filmmaker Federico Fellini and poet Tonino Guerra. The tour visited key sites including the Grand Hotel, Castel Sismondo's Fellini Museum (curated by Marco Bertozzi and Anna Villari, designed by Studio Azzurro), and the Cinema Fulgor. Participants explored the Biennale del Disegno, initiated in 2014 by then-culture councillor Massimo Pulini, and visited studios of artist Massimo Pulini and Roberto Paci Dalò, whose work 'Ductus' was commissioned by the Galleria Nazionale dell'Umbria. The tour also covered urban renewal projects like the Teatro Galli restoration, Parco del Mare, and Piazza sull'Acqua, as well as the new contemporary art museum housing the San Patrignano collection, which recently awarded the Premio Artisti Italiani. In Santarcangelo di Romagna, the group saw street art and Tonino Guerra's collaborations with local artisans, and in Pennabilli, they visited Guerra's home, hosted by his widow Lora Guerra.
