Artribune Travel partners with Viaggi dell’Elefante at Ecoluxury fair

The sixth edition of Ecoluxury fair, a high-end tourism and sustainability event, takes place in Rome from November 9 to 12, 2023. Organized by Enrico Ducrot, president and CEO of Viaggi dell’Elefante, the fair features B2B workshops, a 'Tourism and Sustainability' forum, and fam trips for travel operators in Rome and Lazio. Artribune participates through its Artribune Travel division, which will design cultural and professional travel itineraries for Viaggi dell’Elefante on the Italian market. Three tour types are offered: visits to contemporary artists' studios, architectural and urban tours of Italian city neighborhoods, and exclusive access to museum storage or non-public areas. Ducrot stated that the alliance with Artribune marks Viaggi dell’Elefante's 50th anniversary and enriches specialized travel offerings in Italy, emphasizing art's central role in attracting high-spending clients and fostering authenticity. Paolo Cuccia, president of Artribune and professor of Tourism Economics, highlighted cultural tourism's potential to increase flows, deseasonalize visits, and attract high-spending repeat visitors, noting the overlooked appeal of contemporary culture, architecture, and creative industries. Massimiliano Tonelli, director of Artribune, added that organizing trips and experiences is a natural extension of their content work, building a more engaged community beyond digital platforms.
