Artribune published its 2022 music best-of list, covering albums, concerts, festivals, and events. Best Italian album: Sick Luke's "X2" (released January 7, 2022, Carosello Records), later repackaged as "X2 Deluxe" with 6 new tracks. Best international album: Kendrick Lamar's "Mr. Morale & the Big Steppers." Best celebratory album: The Cure's "Wish" 30th anniversary remastered edition with 24 unreleased tracks. Best music event: C2C Festival's 20th anniversary in Turin, featuring Arca, Lyra Pramuk, Caterina Barbieri, Jamie XX, and Bicep. Best music festival: Elba Isola Musicale d'Europa, which established the 40-member Elba Festival Orchestra with musicians from 16 countries, and featured a jazz concert by Lionel Loueke and a Pasolini centenary tribute with a commissioned piece by Virginia Guastella.
