Artribune Podcast: Giorgio Fasol and Olivia Guaraldo on Youth in Art and Society

Artribune launches a new podcast series titled 'Contemporaneamente,' curated by Mariantonietta Firmani, featuring thematic dialogues with authoritative figures at the intersection of art and science, literature, history, philosophy, architecture, and cinema. The inaugural episode hosts Giorgio Fasol, a prominent contemporary art collector and founder of the Agi Verona Collection, and Olivia Guaraldo, associate professor of political philosophy at the University of Verona and director of the Hannah Arendt Center for Political Studies. They discuss the role of young people in art and society, focusing on social responsibility and personal commitment. Fasol's collection began in 1988 with a loan to Arte Fiera Bologna curated by Silvia Evangelisti, and has since lent works to museums and foundations worldwide. A new educational initiative, in partnership with the University of Verona, aims to make the university a hub for contemporary art engagement, centered at the Santa Marta complex, a former Habsburg military supply depot now repurposed for knowledge and innovation. Guaraldo's research critically analyzes modernity's categories and explores feminist perspectives on politics and citizenship.
