Artribune partners with Combo and Gore-Tex for 2021 Architecture Biennale

Artribune has announced partnerships with Combo and Gore-Tex for its coverage of the 2021 Architecture Biennale in Venice. The Biennale opens to professionals for preview days from May 19 to 21, followed by public access from May 22. Artribune will establish its headquarters at Combo Venice, a contemporary hostel opened in 2019 at Campo dei Gesuiti in a 12th-century former convent owned by the Fondazione IUAV. Combo offers over 250 beds across apartments, private and shared rooms, along with a bar-lounge, restaurant, bacaro, study room, library, communal kitchen, gym, and workshop space hosting rotating exhibitions and events. Its outdoor areas include two cloisters and a terrace overlooking the canal, designed for safe socializing under anti-Covid protocols. Artribune will use Gore-Tex footwear, specifically the La Sportiva Jackal GTX model with Invisible Fit technology, providing waterproofing, breathability, and lightness. Gore-Tex, produced by W. L. Gore & Associates, is a technical fabric used in performance apparel for extreme conditions and everyday wear. The brand has a sustainability program aimed at carbon neutrality by 2050.
