Artribune Maps Corporate Museums in Abruzzo, Basilicata, and Puglia

cultural-heritage · 2026-04-26

Artribune is undertaking a project to catalog corporate museums in Italy, beginning with the regions of Abruzzo, Basilicata, and Puglia. These institutions, which combine branding with archival materials, are supported by Museimpresa, an organization established in Milan in 2001 by Assolombarda and Confindustria, and led by Antonio Calabrò, boasting over 130 members. In Abruzzo, visitors can explore the Museo del Centro Spaziale del Fucino, which showcases 170 antennas and includes Telespazio's museum, opened in 1986, known for transmitting images of the 1969 moon landing and housing artifacts from Marconi's ship Elettra. In Basilicata, Essenza Lucano provides a sensory journey into Amaro Lucano, founded in 1894. Puglia is home to Museo del Confetto Giovanni Mucci, which safeguards the Tenerelli Mucci® recipe, and Museo del Pane di Vito Forte, dedicated to Pane di Altamura DOP.
