Artribune launches podcast series exploring art and science with Vanni Cuoghi and Adriana Albini

Artribune has released a new episode of its podcast 'Contemporaneamente', curated by Mariantonietta Firmani, featuring artist Vanni Cuoghi and biochemist Adriana Albini. The episode delves into the relationship between art and science, emphasizing how both fields require rigorous specialization and intuitive research. Cuoghi, a painter and professor at Accademia Aldo Galli di Como, has participated in major biennials including the Venice Biennale (2011, 2015) and biennials in St. Petersburg, Prague, and Italy-China. Albini, the only Italian woman on the BBC 100 Women list in 2020, is a cancer researcher who developed a widely used in vitro metastasis model in 1985. She directs research labs at IRCCS MultiMedica and serves as Scientific Director of Fondazione MultiMedica Onlus in Milan. The podcast is available on Spreaker.
