Artribune has launched a new bimonthly publication in collaboration with the Fondazione Matera Basilicata 2019 and Arti Grafiche Boccia, dedicated to covering the program of Matera European Capital of Culture 2019. The guide, printed in 50,000 copies per issue and distributed for free in Matera, 50 locations in Basilicata, and major Italian cities including Rome, Milan, Turin, and Venice, is also available online as a PDF. Each issue is bilingual in Italian and English, featuring five sections: Open Future, Cocreazione, Itinerari, Storie, and NEWS. The first issue (May-June 2019) highlights projects such as I-DEA, Purgatorio, Atlante delle emozioni della città, M.E.M.O.R.I., Silent Academy, Gardentopia, Matera Alberga, Heritage Games, Open Playful Space, Patrimonio in gioco, Volontari, Vegetable Orchestra of Vienna, Breadway, Essenza, and exhibitions Rinascimento visto Sud and Ars Excavandi, plus a concert by Georg Friedrich Haas. Paolo Verri, director general of Fondazione Matera Basilicata 2019, stated that the guide adds to other communication initiatives including Rai TGR's Matera Italia, Rai Cultura's Tele Matera, Sky Arte documentaries, Euronews coverage, and Rai Radio3 features.
