ArtReview Launches Multimedia Partnership with Hong Kong's M+ Museum
ArtReview has launched a comprehensive multimedia partnership with Hong Kong's M+ museum to mark the institution's opening. The collaboration spans digital and print platforms, aiming to introduce international audiences to M+'s collections and position the museum as central to Asian visual culture. ArtReview's editorial team will select artworks and design objects from M+'s collection for the online 'Work of the Week' series, featuring commissioned writers providing in-depth analysis of individual pieces. The partnership includes one-minute videos distributed through ArtReview's social media channels, highlighting artists featured in M+'s opening displays. Two focus features will appear in ArtReview's flagship print publications ArtReview and ArtReview Asia, offering detailed guides to the new institution and its potential impact on regional visual culture production and display. The 'Work of the Week' series already features works by Tadanori Yokoo, Chris Palmieri, Deepa Bhasthi, Claire Cao, Yue Ren, Mark Rappolt, and Sarah Jilani, covering pieces like Tadanori Yokoo's 'Having Reached A Climax At 29, I Was Dead' (1965), the Toshiba Rice Cooker, Geoffrey Bawa's Sri Lankan Parliament Building (1982), Fiona Tan's 'May You Live in Interesting Times' (1997), CAMP's 'From Gulf to Gulf to Gulf' (2013), Zeng Fanzhi's 'Mask: Rainbow' (1997), Patty Chang's 'Fountain' (1999), and Mona Hatoum's 'Kapan Iki' (2012).
