ArtReview Bar hosts launch for blockchain art anthology with editors and contributors

The launch event for the publication Artists Re:Thinking the Blockchain took place on Tuesday, 5 September 2017, at 7pm, at the ArtReview Bar located at 1 Honduras St, London EC1Y 0TH. Editors Ruth Catlow, Marc Garrett, Nathan Jones, and Sam Skinner engaged in a discussion with J.J. Charlesworth from ArtReview. Presentations were given by contributors Jaya Klara Brekke and Max Dovey. The book includes contributions from Hito Steyerl, Rachel O'Dwyer, Rob Myers, Ben Vickers, and Holly Herndon. Attendees had the opportunity to buy copies on-site, with RSVPs required at rsvp@artreview.com. The publication examines the potential impact of blockchain technology on economic exchange, self-organization, and social trust, highlighting it as a new realm of interconnected ideas and values.
