ArtReview Asia Xiàn Chǎng Presents 32 Works by 29 Artists at West Bund Art & Design 2017
The 2017 edition of ArtReview Asia Xiàn Chǎng showcases 32 pieces created by 29 artists hailing from 16 different nations, taking place at West Bund Art & Design from November 10 to 12. Curated by ArtReview Asia, this exhibition features 13 new works, including nine specifically commissioned for the site. Outdoor installations can be found at the West Bund Art Center plaza, along Longteng Road, and in CAMP3399 park. Among the highlighted sculptures are those by Hans Josephsohn, Lynn Chadwick, Ding Yi, and Zhou Li. Noteworthy site-specific commissions include Rirkrit Tiravanija's Untitled and Damián Ortega's Deaf Torch: Open View. The TALENT section is dedicated to showcasing emerging artists. Launched in 2016, the event initially presented 25 works and honored Hao Jingfang and Wang Lingjie with its first prize.
