ArtReview Asia Xiàn Chǎng presents 14 solo projects at West Bund Art & Design in Shanghai

The third edition of ArtReview Asia Xiàn Chǎng features fourteen artists from both China and abroad, showcasing their works at the West Bund Art & Design in Shanghai from November 8 to 11. The West Bund Art Center hosts these installations, which include new commissions from Tatsuo Miyajima, Cerith Wyn Evans, Zhang Enli, and Shezad Dawood. This initiative diverges from traditional fair booths, with each artwork serving as an intervention that embodies the idea of Xiàn Chǎng, meaning 'the scene' or 'on the spot.' A project will be chosen as the winner by West Bund Art & Design and revealed during the fair. Notable artists participating include Francis Alÿs, Choi Jeong Hwa, and Takashi Murakami. Additionally, on November 9 at 3pm in Hall A, ArtReview Asia will facilitate a discussion between Zhang Enli and Luc Tuymans, moderated by Aimee Lin, titled 'Two Worlds: Painting in the Age of Fake News.'
