ArtReview Asia Winter 2017 Highlights Ten Major Exhibitions Across Asia and Europe
The Winter 2017 edition of ArtReview Asia showcases ten notable exhibitions. At the Rockbund Art Museum in Shanghai, the Hugo Boss Art Award 2017, curated by Li Qi, includes finalists Li Ming, Tao Hui, Yu Ji, and Robert Zhao Renhui, with the winner set to be revealed in November. The Singapore Art Museum at 8Q is hosting 'Cinerama: Art and the Moving Image in Southeast Asia,' featuring artists such as Amy Lee Sanford and The Propeller Group. In Jakarta, the Museum MACAN debuts 'Art Turns. World Turns,' co-curated by Agung Hujatnika and Charles Esche. Additionally, a retrospective of Jonas Mekas is on display at MMCA Seoul, while Cai Guo-Qiang shows at the Prado Museum, and the NGV Triennial in Melbourne includes over 100 artists. Yu Youhan is exhibiting in Shanghai, and Kimsooja's work is featured in Vaduz.
