ArtReview Asia Spring 2017 Previews: Exhibitions from Hong Kong to Paris
The Spring 2017 preview from ArtReview Asia showcases ten exhibitions taking place in Asia and Europe. At Art Basel Hong Kong, Rirkrit Tiravanija presents a bamboo maze featuring 3D-printed bonsai trees from March 23–25. Meanwhile, Julian Schnabel's 'Shiva Paintings' are on display at Galerie Templon in Paris from March 11 to May 13. In Hong Kong, Kim Tschang-Yeul exhibits his water drop canvases at Pearl Lam Galleries from March 21 to May 10. Mori Art Museum in Tokyo hosts N.S. Harsha's 'Charming Journey' until June 11. 'The National: New Australian Art' will be featured at MCA Australia, Art Gallery of New South Wales, and Carriageworks in Sydney from March 30 through June/July. Other exhibitions include Nalini Malani's retrospective at Stedelijk Museum, Amsterdam (March 18–June 18), Adrian Wong's installation at K11 Art Foundation, Hong Kong (March 20–April 29), and the group show '.com/.cn' at K11's pop-up in Hong Kong (March 21–April 30). 'Park' at Holly's Gallery in Guangzhou runs from March 15 to April 16, while Zhou Li's 'Shadow of the Wind' at Yuz Museum, Shanghai, is open until June 4.
