other · 2026-04-20

ArtReview Asia presents 'Who Goes, Where Are?', a performative dialogue event featuring critic Edward Sanderson and artist Elaine W. Ho. Scheduled for 7pm on Thursday 3 April at ArtReview's London venue at 1 Honduras Street, London EC1Y 0TH, the evening will explore research as collaborative practice. The bar remains open until 11pm. This marks the second installment in their ongoing series examining independent artistic initiatives and collectives in China. Sanderson, a UK-born critic based in Beijing, studies Global Arts at Goldsmiths College in London, focusing on ephemeral practices as social strategy. Ho, who works across time-based art and urban practice, initiated the Beijing artist-run space HomeShop from 2008-2013 and is currently a fellow at Berlin's Institut für Raumexperimente. Their dialogue investigates the performative interplay between researchers and subjects, playing with scales of observation and engagement as forms of collective learning.
