ArtReview Asia Highlights Global Exhibitions from Beirut to Las Vegas
Lawrence Abu Hamdan's most extensive exhibition, titled 'Natq', is currently showcased at the Sfeir-Semler Gallery in Beirut until January 4, featuring eight installations, one of which is 'Walled Unwalled' (2018). The Sharjah Architecture Triennial, under the curation of Adrian Lahoud, continues until February 8, with works from Abu Hamdan, Feral Atlas, and Tuan Andrew Nguyen. El Anatsui's retrospective, 'Triumphant Scale', is on display at Mathaf in Doha until January 31. In Singapore, 'The Posthuman City' at the NTU Centre for Contemporary Art is available until February 23, while 'Suddenly Turning Visible' at the National Gallery Singapore is open until March 15. Additionally, Rasheed Araeen's ongoing project 'Shamiyaana' is in London, and Rirkrit Tiravanija's teahouse is at Palais des ducs d'Aquitaine until January 19. Other notable exhibitions include 'Where We Now Stand' in Kanazawa, 'Phantom Limb' in Dubai, 'Material Existence' in Las Vegas, and 'A Composite Leviathan' in New York.
