ArtReview and Modern Forms host ecology talk with Stefanie Hessler and Samuel Solnick

A conversation exploring ecological systems and human environmental engagements in contemporary art and writing will take place on November 7 at 6:30 pm in the ArtReview Bar. Organized by ArtReview in collaboration with Modern Forms, the event features curator Stefanie Hessler and author Samuel Solnick, moderated by Ben Eastham. Hessler co-curates the 6th Athens Biennale and the 'Practices of Attention' symposium at the 33rd Bienal de São Paulo, co-founded Andquestionmark in Stockholm with Carsten Höller, and curates the TBA21–Academy fellowship program in London. She edited the anthology 'Life Itself' and 'Tidalectics: Imagining an Oceanic Worldview through Art and Science', and is curating Joan Jonas's 2019 exhibition at Ocean Space in Venice. Solnick authored 'Poetry and the Anthropocene', lectures at the University of Liverpool, co-directs its Literature and Science Hub, and researches climate change representations across literature, performance, and visual culture.
