artpress2 n°27: Villa Gillet presents American thought panorama

publication · 2026-04-23

The 27th issue of artpress2, produced in collaboration with Villa Gillet in Lyon, offers a panorama of American thought through intellectual portraits of ten figures including philosophers, sociologists, a jurist, and a doctor, plus a magazine collective. The issue covers topics from economics and politics to TV series, medicine, and morality. French scholars, philosophers, and writers authored these portraits, initiating a dialogue that will continue at Villa Gillet's 'Mode d'emploi' festival from November to December 2, 2012. The festival features interviews, debates, and roundtables, described as a Festival of Ideas rather than a colloquium or book fair.
