Artpress2 n°20: Cannibalism and Private Foundations

The 20th edition of artpress2, named "Tous cannibales" (Cannibals All), delves into the theme of cannibalism within contemporary art, under the editorial direction of Jeanette Zwingenberger. Featured in this dossier are contributions from Catherine Millet, Edgardo G. Carosella, Michaël Ferrier, and others, addressing subjects ranging from cannibal metaphysics to Freudian myth. Notable artists examined include John Isaacs, Wangechi Mutu, and Camille de Galbert, among many others. Additionally, the issue presents a survey of private foundations in Europe, with articles by Anaël Pigeat discussing the European landscape, and interviews with Antoine de Galbert and Thomas Olbricht conducted by Anaël Pigeat and Ute Weingarten, respectively.
