ARTMargins Launches Artist Editions Series Featuring Boris Mikhailov and Ilya & Emilia Kabakov
ARTMargins has introduced an Artist Editions series offering original artworks for purchase to financially support its editorial operations and special projects. The initiative includes limited quantities of works by Boris Mikhailov and Ilya & Emilia Kabakov. Mikhailov's contribution is a 1985 bromoid gelatin silver print titled "Salt Lake," measuring 9 1/2” x 12” on paper. The Kabakovs present multiple pieces: two 1993-1994 offset prints, "[Untitled, Ships]" and "[Untitled, Rabbits]," sized 29cm x 40cm and 32cm x 44cm respectively; a 2009 four-color postcard called "The House: Project Document" (6” x 4”); various signed and numbered digital prints with a 22” x 17” paper size; a 2007 original drawing "Cutting Edge #1" (23” x 29”); and a 2010 mixed-media collage on paper, "Communist Tour of MoMA (An Introduction)," measuring 14” x 17”. All works are sold unframed, with prices excluding shipping and handling. Interested buyers can obtain details and place orders by contacting artmargins@gmail.com. This series makes contemporary art accessible at competitive prices while funding critical art journalism.
