festival-fair · 2026-05-05

ArtLab, the itinerant platform for cultural policy innovation created by Fondazione Fitzcarraldo, concluded its two-day session in Lecce, focusing on the development of cultural and creative enterprises in Southern Italy and opportunities from EU Cohesion Policies 2014-2020. The event followed a weekend in Ravello with RavelloLab promoted by Federculture. Key topics included a credit access agreement between Cofidi.it, Unicredit, and Distretto Puglia Creativa for cultural enterprises, and ongoing dialogue on the Ascani-Manzi bill for cultural startups. Deputy Roberto Rampi discussed bill 4030 for contemporary music activities, proposing a €50 million annual fund. President Ugo Bacchella highlighted ArtLab's role in building an ecosystem for cultural organizations, citing previous sessions in Milan, Macerata, and Mantua, where the Chamber of Deputies' Culture Commission held a public session on the Ascani-Manzi bill. ArtLab will continue in 2017.
