Artists' Film International VIII at GAMeC Bergamo
The eighth installment of Artists' Film International, initiated by Whitechapel Gallery in London, is currently taking place at GAMeC in Bergamo, running until January 15, 2017. Curated by Sara Fumagalli and Stefano Raimondi, this program delves into the intersection of art and technology through various video works by global artists. The opening feature is Dark Content (2015) by Eva and Franco Mattes, chosen by GAMeC. Additional highlights include Igor Jesus' POV (2015) from MAAT, Lisbon, Mateusz Sadowski's It Takes Time (2014) from the Museum of Modern Art, Warsaw, and works by Mak Ying Tung and Andrés Denegri. Screenings from December 21 to January 2, 2017, will showcase pieces by Igor Bošnjak and others, culminating with Rohini Devasher's Atmospheres (2015) from January 4 to 15, 2017.
