Artist-Run Platform T.NUA Opens Milan Space and Launches Magazine

exhibition · 2026-04-26

The artist-run platform T.NUA, founded by Tao Kulczycki, Ornaghi & Prestinari, and curator Lindsay Aveilhé, has inaugurated a new exhibition space in Milan at Via Carlo Boncompagni 44, in the same courtyard as Galleria ZERO. The opening show, 'A T.NUA Exhibition' (April 5 – May 3, 2025, preview April 4), features Delcy Morelos, Namsal Siedlecki, Oli Bonzanigo, Francesco Fossati, and the founders. Simultaneously, the collective launched the first issue of T.NUA Magazine, a limited edition of 350 copies with a digital version, exploring themes of soil, land, interconnection, and regeneration. T.NUA operates as a self-funded platform with two main programs: the Collaboration Program, focusing on hybrid socially engaged projects, and the Craftsmanship Program, dedicated to residencies that valorize traditional craftsmanship. Past collaborations include the Museo Carlo Zauli in Faenza, Italy, and the Savannah Centre for Contemporary Art (SCCA Tamale) in Ghana, founded by Ibrahim Mahama. Future plans include a Collaboration Program in Nepal, part of the 2026 Kathmandu Triennale, and a site-specific work by Delcy Morelos at Museo Carlo Zauli, documented in a film by Filippo Prestinari. The Milan space will serve as both Kulczycki's studio and a permanent venue for T.NUA activities, hosting annual exhibitions, screenings, lectures, and workshops.
