Artist Lee Wen, 56, was discovered unconscious with facial injuries in a bathroom at Hong Kong's City University. The incident occurred while he was visiting the city for Art Basel Hong Kong. According to the South China Morning Post, Lee had previously criticized human rights and violence on mainland China during a forum at the university.
