Artist Jewelry Exhibition at Esh Gallery in Milan
Esh Gallery in Milan presents 'Gioielli d’artista', an exhibition of artist-made jewelry that blurs the line between art and design. The show features unique pieces crafted from diverse materials such as metal, glass, ceramic, stone, and natural elements, emphasizing creativity and individuality over traditional notions of preciousness. Among the participants, SURI&ROS, a duo formed by Agustina Ros and Giulia Vecchiato, creates jewelry from hand-finished metal sheets with applied borosilicate glass, exemplified by the Tetris ring and earrings in gold-plated brass. Annarita Bianco (Merıstėma Lab) combines craftsmanship with technology, incorporating USB cable waste into resin-set silver pieces laser-engraved to resemble modern fossils. Annachiara Zani, a recent IED graduate, draws inspiration from natural forms in her collection NOW.HERE.VOID, using Volterra alabaster to reveal the word 'visible' through light. German artist Karin Seufert presents porcelain brooches and pendants made from PVC points, creating empty forms and elegant monochromes. Laura Forte (Deep) and Yoko Takirai offer minimalist gold and silver jewelry, while Laura Volpi contributes a bronze ring with citrine and raw amethyst, and Paula Castro wraps the wrist with a gold-plated silver leaf bracelet. The exhibition runs at Esh Gallery in Milan.
