Artist-Designed Mini Golf Course Comes to London's Battersea Arts Centre

exhibition · 2026-05-26

The playable exhibition The Art of Mini Golf will take over Battersea Arts Centre in London from June 17 to July 26, 2026. The show features nine interactive golf hole artworks by artists including Turner Prize nominee Delaine Le Bas, US filmmaker Miranda July, and Japanese artist Saeborg. Organized by the Rising festival in Melbourne, the UK edition includes an additional work by Danielle Brathwaite-Shirley, a Berlin-based artist and video game designer known for her 2025 exhibition at the Serpentine. Brathwaite-Shirley's hole, titled Enough is Enough, uses humor to address anxieties about gain and loss in a changing world. Le Bas' contribution, Square peg, round hole, NO!, requires players to use a square ball. Saeborg's Animal Golf replaces the traditional putter with a strap-on latex animal tail.
