Artissima and EDIT Launch The EDIT Dinner Party in Turin

The first edition of The EDIT Dinner Party will take place on November 2 and 3, 2018 in Turin, organized by the gastronomic hub EDIT in collaboration with the art fair Artissima. The event features two exclusive dinners directed by artist Massimo Bartolini and Michelin-starred chefs Costardi Bros., limited to 60 guests. The dinners are conceived as a performance where the artist orchestrates the dining experience, blending art and cuisine. The collaboration also includes The EDIT Dinner Prize, a new award open to all artists participating in Artissima's eight sections, with no age or medium restrictions. The winner, selected by a jury including Bartolini, Roberta Ceretto, and Giorgio de Mitri, will receive a monetary prize and the opportunity to create a dinner at EDIT during Artissima's 2019 edition. Bartolini and Costardi Bros. emphasize the sensory and cultural parallels between art and food, but keep the dinner's details secret. The event coincides with Artissima's 25th anniversary and EDIT's first year, founded by Marco Brignone. The dinners will explore themes of habits, inclusion, and sharing within a specially created environment.
