Artemis Fine Arts Auction Features Rare Kentrosaurus Spike and Prehistoric Fossils

On August 6, 2026, at 9 a.m. GMT-6, Artemis Fine Arts will host an auction in Louisville, Colorado, named 'Fine Fossils, Native American, Asian, Ethno.' Among the items for sale are a unique 24-inch shoulder spike from a Kentrosaurus, a large pelvis from a Tyrannosaurus rex, and skulls from two ancient saber-toothed predators. The Kentrosaurus fossil, which dates back approximately 152 million years, was discovered in Tanzania during the Late Jurassic era.
