Artecinema 2020 Goes Online with 20+ Films

The 25th edition of Artecinema, an international festival dedicated to films about contemporary art and curated by Laura Trisorio, commenced on October 15 at Teatro San Carlo in Naples. Due to anti-Covid measures, the audience size is limited. Featured screenings include Body of Truth (Evelyn Schels on Marina Abramović, Shirin Neshat, Katharina Sieverding, Sigalit Landau), Renzo Piano. Il potere dell’archivio (Francesca Molteni), and Letizia Battaglia – Shooting the Mafia (Kim Longinotto). The festival, which runs until October 22, is accessible online at online.artecinema.com for a €10 pass. Trisorio expressed her satisfaction with the digital transition, viewing it as a positive opportunity. The event comprises three sections: Arte e dintorni, Architettura, and Fotografia, showcasing over 20 films, including works by Marinella Senatore and others.
