Arte Laguna Prize Brings 45 Artists to Villa dei Cedri in Valdobbiadene

The exhibition SPAZIO – VISIONI INTRECCIATE opens at the Ex Opificio Villa dei Cedri in Valdobbiadene, part of the UNESCO World Heritage Prosecco Hills. Organized by the MoCA Cultural Association and curated by Marta Fogagnolo with artistic direction by Sara Tortato and Alessandra Lazzarin, the show features works by 45 artists from various countries, selected from finalists of recent editions of the Arte Laguna Prize, an international art competition founded in 2006. The works were previously exhibited at the Arsenale Nord in Venice. The exhibition runs from May 21 to August 15, 2022, and explores the concept of space through architecture, nature, interiority, and dreams. Media include painting, photography, digital art, video art, sculpture, installation, and design. A program of events and meetings aims to connect the local community, artists, and associations. Valdobbiadene's culture assessor Giorgia Falcade expressed enthusiasm for the new cycle of temporary exhibitions in the recently restored ex-factory. Fogagnolo invited the public to visit and engage with the works.
