Arte Laguna Prize 2026 Opens with New Industrial Award and Global Residencies
In its twentieth iteration, the Arte Laguna Prize has unveiled its 2026 edition, introducing a new collaboration with FOMAS Group, which has established the FOMAS Special Prize. This initiative will award three cash prizes of €7,000, €4,000, and €3,000 for artworks that explore the theme of steel, themed "Mastering the Science of Metals." Eligible submissions must be paintings sized between 1.5×1.5 meters and 3×2 meters, with a deadline for FOMAS entries set for June 1, 2026. Confirmed residency opportunities include The Swatch Art Peace Hotel in Shanghai, BigCi in Australia, NY20+ in Chengdu, Carrara with Litix Spa, Lesina, Croatia, and MoCA Venice. General registrations for special prizes will remain open until June 30, 2026, excluding the FOMAS prize.
