Arte Forte: Contemporary Art in Trentino's Austro-Hungarian Forts
Giordano Raffaelli, a gallerist, is leading an exciting project called Arte Forte, which transforms eight Austro-Hungarian forts in Trentino into spaces for modern art. The forts included in this initiative are Forte Cadine in Trento, Forte Strino in Vermiglio, Forte Corno in Valdaone, Forte Larino in Sella Giudicarie, Forte Pozzacchio in Trambileno, Forte Garda in Riva del Garda, Forte Superiore di Nago in Nago–Torbole, and Forte Belvedere in Lavarone. Collaborating with ASPART and ANGAMC, fifteen galleries from the Triveneto region are on board. Curated by Mariella Rossi, the exhibition "La Babele di linguaggi e di simboli legati ai conflitti" features works from 28 artists, commemorating the centenary of World War I and is part of the summer event "Sentinelle di pietra."
