Arte Fiera Bologna 2019: Five Special Projects Unveiled

Arte Fiera Bologna returns from February 1 to 4, 2019, under the new direction of Simone Menegoi, with a cultural program centered on five special projects. The exhibition 'Solo figura e sfondo,' curated by Davide Ferri, celebrates Emilia-Romagna's artistic heritage through works from major public and private collections, featuring figures like Pier Vittorio Tondelli, Gianni Celati, and Luigi Ghirri. 'Oplà, performing activities,' curated by Silvia Fanti, includes performances by Alex Cecchetti, Cesare Pietroiusti, Cristian Chironi, and Nico Vascellari, both inside and outside the fairgrounds. Flash Art organizes a series of talks and roundtables with artists and museum directors. 'Micro // Macro' workshops for children, promoted by Fondazione Golinelli, explore the intersection of art and science. Flavio Favelli creates the lounge-installation 'Hic et Nunc' at the fair entrance, a hybrid of environment, sculpture, and installation. The fair runs from February 1 to 4, 2019, at the Quartiere Fieristico di Bologna.
