Arte Fiera 2026 Preview on Sky Arte's Artbox

Sky Arte's Artbox dedicates its next episode to the upcoming edition of Arte Fiera, scheduled in Bologna from February 6 to 8, 2026. The fair, running for over fifty years, gathers gallerists, collectors, and enthusiasts of modern and contemporary art. This edition features over 200 galleries and is titled "Cosa sarà." The episode also covers current exhibitions: in Turin, the Mole Antonelliana hosts "Pazza idea. Oltre il ’68," a tribute to photographer Angelo Frontoni, known for iconic shots of 1970s and 1980s Italy blending lightness, terror, glamour, and politics. In Milan, artist Chiara Dynys presents the site-specific installation "Once Again" in Palazzo Citterio's Sala Stirling. The episode's "Invito al viaggio" segment, curated by Maria Vittoria Baravelli, explores the link between art and desire, including works by filmmaker Alice Rohrwacher. The cameras visit Milan's Galleria Antonia Jannone for "Unique," a format curated by Bruno Gnocchi promoting young artists for the international market. Contributors include Carlo Chatrian (Director of Museo Nazionale Cinema and co-curator of the Frontoni exhibition), Enea Righi (Operational Director of Arte Fiera Bologna), Anna Bernardini (curator of "Once Again"), Angelo Crespi (General Director of Pinacoteca di Brera), and Chiara Rostagno (Vice Director of Pinacoteca di Brera).
