Arte al Centro 25th Edition at Cittadellarte: Pistoletto's Utopian Vision

exhibition · 2026-04-27

Currently underway at Fondazione Pistoletto in Biella is the 25th edition of Arte al Centro, which focuses on themes of sustainability and social responsibility. In 1991, Michelangelo Pistoletto, who was born in Biella in 1933, acquired the old Trombetta wool mill to establish Cittadellarte, reflecting his vision of the 'Third Paradise.' The museum on the upper levels displays his notable works, including the mirror paintings and the 1967 piece 'Venus of the Rags.' Meanwhile, the lower levels accommodate a fashion and art school, a primary school, and various workshops. Featured exhibitions include Tiziano Guardini's 'Fashion to reconnect,' 'Circulart 3.0' by Fashion B.E.S.T. and UNIDEE, and Matteo Nasini's 'The Golden Age + Splendore Neolitico,' highlighting innovative art and sustainability.
