Artcritical's Holiday Party at Eric Firestone Loft Doubles as Benefit Exhibition for Website Redesign

The annual holiday gathering for artcritical was held at the Eric Firestone Loft, transforming the venue into a benefit exhibition to support the publication's upcoming website redesign scheduled for spring. Forty-one artists, all affiliated with artcritical as editors, writers, interns, staff, or guest speakers on The Review Panel, contributed works to the impromptu show. The event aimed to raise funds and showcase the creative talents of the publication's associates. No professional photographer was hired, so documentation relied on guests' cell phone photos and images shared via social media, an approach that aligned with the collective and spontaneous nature of the installation. The party continues artcritical's tradition of rotating locations each year.
