Artcritical Marks 10th Anniversary of Review Panel, Appoints Michael Heller as Poetry Editor
On Friday, October 24, Artcritical will mark the tenth anniversary of The Review Panel with a special event at the National Academy. David Cohen, the editor of Artcritical, will moderate a discussion featuring seasoned guests Ken Johnson, Joan Waltemath, and Marjorie Welish, focusing on exhibitions such as the acclaimed David Hockney show at Pace. The publication has welcomed Michael Heller as its new Poetry Editor, succeeding Bill Berkson, who now joins the contributing editors. Heller's recent work, Dda, created in collaboration with artist duo alpert+kahn and inspired by Picasso's Les Demoiselles d'Avignon, was featured in the Poetry for Art series. Additionally, reviews by associate editor Noah Dillon on Tomer Aluf and Lindsay Comstock on the Metropolitan Museum's Death Becomes Her exhibition will be included.
