ArtAsiaPacific March 2026 issue explores transformation through artists engaging bodies, memories, and geographies
The March 2026 issue of ArtAsiaPacific focuses on artists and organizations adapting to a changing world. Ching Ho Cheng, a late Chinese American artist from Havana, graces the cover with his vivid gouache and abstract works created from oxidized, torn paper during the 1960s New York art movement. His art will be featured in the "Spectrosynthesis" exhibition at the Art Sonje Center in Seoul, set for March 2026. The edition also explores Geumhyung Jeong's robotic pieces on identity and the technology-related projects of Hito Steyerl, Tishan Hsu, and Shao Chun. Additionally, Belinda Tanoto previews her Tanoto Art Foundation's inaugural show in Singapore, while Frank Young partners with the APY Art Centre Collective for the 25th Biennale of Sydney, opening in March 2026, alongside contributors like Abdullah Al Saadi, Arthur Debsi, Naima Morelli, Simon Wang, and Wong Ping.
