ART021 HONG KONG Inaugural Edition Announces 73 Galleries Across Five Sections
The first ART021 HONG KONG Contemporary Art Fair is set to take place from August 28 to September 8, 2024, with participation from 73 galleries across 13 nations. Funded by the Mega Arts and Cultural Events Fund, the event will feature five distinct sections: GALLERIES, VIDEOS, EXPANSION, SCULPTURE, and GBA ART WEEK, hosted in four cultural venues. Phillips Asia Headquarters will house the GALLERIES section, showcasing 40 galleries, including ShanghART Gallery and David Zwirner. The VIDEOS segment at Asia Society will present screenings from August 29 to September 1. Victoria Park’s SCULPTURE section will display works by Robert Indiana and Camille Henrot. GBA ART WEEK will feature over 30 galleries, highlighting West and South Asian art with the project 'One Thousand and One Nights.' Tickets will be available starting August 2.
