art press Celebrates 40 Years at Belfort Film Festival

The French art magazine art press marks its 40th anniversary with a special film program at the 27th EntreVues Belfort International Film Festival, running from November 24 to December 2, 2012, at the Pathé Belfort cinema. Titled "art press, 40 ans de regard," the program features 15 films by directors including Pier-Paolo Pasolini, Jean Eustache, Bruno Dumont, Pierre Zucca, João Monteiro, Jean-Marie Straub and Danièle Huillet, Peter Greenaway, Alain Fleischer, Catherine Breillat, Jacques Nolot, Eugène Green, Bertrand Bonello, Clarisse Hahn, Isild Le Besco, and Samira Makmalbaff. On Saturday, December 1, a discussion titled "From Video Art to Contemporary Works, the Gaze of an Art Magazine on Moving Images" will be held, based on a selection of works proposed by art press editor-in-chief Catherine Millet, curator Dominique Païni, and others.
