Art of Street Photography at Powerscourt Centre, Dublin

The group exhibition 'Art of Street Photography' continues at Powerscourt Centre in Dublin until June 30, 2018, featuring sixty works selected by a jury. Among the international photographers are three Italians: Giuseppe Milo, Michele Di Donato, and Francesca Magnani. Milo, an Amalfi-born artist living in Dublin since 2010, presents a black-and-white shot from his 'Faceless' series, capturing solitary figures with architectural elements. Di Donato, from San Severo and based in Sicily, contributes 'Wait please!', part of a project on non-places inspired by Marc Augé, depicting transient spaces and urban solitude. Magnani, a Padua native and New York resident since 1997, shows an image from her '#gentedelferry' series, started in summer 2017 after the NYC Ferry launch, offering new perspectives on the city. The exhibition also includes works by Jill Freedman (USA), Richard Sandler (USA), Dougie Wallace (Scotland), Tish Murtha (UK), Tatsuo Susuki (Japan), Gabi Ben Avraham (Israel), Arek Rataj (Poland), Swart Ghosh (India), and Rudy Boyer (France).
