Art Night Venezia 2017: Venice's Seventh Edition of the All-Night Art Festival

On June 17, 2017, the seventh edition of Art Night Venezia was held, organized by the Comune di Venezia and Università Ca' Foscari Venezia, running from 18:00 until late. This event offered free evening access to various cultural venues throughout Venice, including Punta della Dogana, Casa dei Tre Oci, and the Collezione Peggy Guggenheim. Notable highlights included the Russian group AES+F unveiling their video installation 'Psychosis' at Ca' Foscari's courtyard, inspired by Sarah Kane's '4.48 Psychosis'. Michelangelo Pistoletto presented 'One and One Makes Three' at Abbazia di San Giorgio Maggiore, while Sergey Katran showcased terracotta sculptures of the word 'Art' in 125 languages at Palazzo Zenobio. Other attractions included Philipp Geist's light art projection at Chiesa Luterana di Venezia and Yuri Ancarani's video 'Rio Grande' at Caffè Florian. The event also featured a 'reading attack' and was part of the European Night of the Arts.
