Art Monte-Carlo 2025 expands to new Grimaldi Forum wing, partners with Centre Pompidou

festival-fair · 2026-04-26

The ninth edition of Art Monte-Carlo will take place July 8–9, 2025 at the Grimaldi Forum, directed by Charlotte Diwan. For the first time, the fair will occupy the venue's new extension. Notable galleries include Franco Noero, Mennour, Robilant + Voena, Semiose, Continua, Sperone Westwater, Waddington Custot, and Suzanne Tarasieve. A highlight is the collaboration with the Centre Pompidou, which will present archival drawings, unpublished materials, and a model of its planned 2030 transformation. Curator Didier Ottinger will oversee a special space on color, linking to the exhibition 'Colori! Capolavori del Centre Pompidou' opening July 7 at the Grimaldi Forum, featuring over 100 works by Sonia Delaunay, Picasso, Basquiat, Kandinsky, and Modigliani. French designer Pierre Yovanovitch will create a 60-square-meter interior design installation. Talks include Stefano Rabolli Pansera with Amal Khalaf (curator of the next Sharjah Biennial), Tiqui Atencio Demirdjian with Simon de Pury, and Centre Pompidou president Laurent Le Bon with architects and Ottinger moderated by Thierry Consigny, plus a conversation with Patrizia Sandretto Re Rebaudengo for her foundation's 30th anniversary. Concurrent exhibitions: 'Les Années folles de Coco Chanel' at Grimaldi Forum, 'Cactus' at Villa Sauber (Nouveau Musée National de Monaco, with Yves Saint Laurent Museum Marrakech), and 'Demain l’Océan?' curated by Élodie Antoine near the port.
