Art Jobs in Italy: Curators, Photographers, and Filmmakers Wanted

In mid-January 2025, various Italian art institutions have revealed job openings and opportunities. The Istituto Italiano di Cultura di Berlino, in partnership with the DGCC del MiC, has initiated the IT out off Berlin call for Italian curators to manage an off project during the 13th Berlin Biennale for Contemporary Art, scheduled from June 14 to September 14, 2025. Spazi Fotografici is launching SPAZI LAB, a hybrid photo editing course led by Senior Picture Editor Manila Camarini, starting January 27, 2025, with an in-person weekend in early April; applications close on January 24, 2025. Fondazione Artea in Cuneo is looking for a communication and marketing officer for a full-time, one-year contract beginning March 2025, offering a gross salary of €2,000 monthly; applications are due by February 9, 2025. Lastly, the Valsusa Filmfest will celebrate its 29th edition in March–April 2025, featuring a film competition for both emerging and professional filmmakers, honoring Mercedes Sosa (1935–2009), with submissions due by February 1, 2025.
