Art Jameel's 'We saw an endless cycle' Explores Jeddah Through 17 Artists

Art Jameel has revealed an upcoming group exhibition named 'We saw an endless cycle,' scheduled to take place from November 27, 2024, to April 17, 2025, at Hayy Arts in Hayy Jameel, Jeddah. Curated by Rotana Shaker, the exhibition will showcase the works of 17 artists from 12 different countries, including notable figures such as Lubna Chowdhary, Basmah Felemban, and William Pope.L. Several of these artists will be exhibiting in Saudi Arabia for the first time. The show will feature contemporary art, archival pieces, and new commissions, exploring how artists reflect Jeddah's urban changes through various intimate actions. The exhibition's title is inspired by Seher Shah's poetry and includes global urban documentation from cities like London and Cairo.
