Art Icons: Star-Studded Contemporary Art Show in Fidenza's Church of San Michele

The Church of San Michele in Fidenza, Italy, reopens to the public for a contemporary art exhibition titled Art Icons, curated by Luca Bravo. The show features over fifty works from the Deodato Arte collection by international art stars including Jeff Koons, David LaChapelle, Yayoi Kusama, Takashi Murakami, Damien Hirst, Kaws, Blek le Rat, Banksy, and TvBoy. Italian artist Marco Lodola contributes a pop-art horse installation illuminating the Porta della Francigena near the Duomo, a UNESCO World Heritage candidate. The exhibition also includes a never-before-exhibited Banksy work on cardboard, "Agile," created to raise funds for Ukrainian war victims, alongside iconic pieces like "Love is in the Air" and "Girl with Balloon." The show is a collaboration with the cultural hub OF Orsoline, highlighting a contrast between ancient tradition and contemporary avant-garde.
