Art Here 2025: Shadows Theme Unveiled at Louvre Abu Dhabi

The fifth edition of Art Here, hosted by Richard Mille in collaboration with Louvre Abu Dhabi, is set to commence on October 11, 2025, and will continue until December 28, 2025. Curated by Sophie Mayuko Arni, a Swiss-Japanese curator, this exhibition features newly commissioned pieces that explore the theme 'Shadows.' A total of over 400 proposals were submitted by artists from the UAE, the Gulf, Japan, and other regions, with six artworks by seven artists ultimately chosen. The jury, chaired by Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan bin Khalifa Al Nahyan, includes Dr. Guilhem André, Maya Allison, Yuko Hasegawa, and Sophie Mayuko Arni. This year marks the prize's expansion into Japan, highlighting cross-cultural engagement. Peter Harrison, CEO of Richard Mille EMEA, and Tilly Harrison, Managing Director of Richard Mille Middle East, underscored the prize's curatorial integrity and international significance. Manuel Rabaté, Director of Louvre Abu Dhabi, noted the increasing creative energy in the region.
