Art from Los Angeles: 1990-2010 at Studio Guenzani, Milan

Studio Guenzani in Milan presents "Art from Los Angeles: 1990-2010," a group exhibition featuring twenty works by eight artists from the West Coast. The show includes photographs, collages, sculptures, and paintings that highlight the technical and expressive freedom of the late millennium. Notable works include Lari Pittman's intensely layered paintings and Paul McCarthy's irreverent performance photographs, alongside two small works on paper by McCarthy that maintain his critical stance on society's obsession with power, sex, and money. Other artists include Jason Meadows, Catherine Opie, Jennifer Bornstein, Laura Owens, Allen Ruppersberg, and Ginny Bishton. The exhibition runs until May 20, 2016.
