Art Focus 5 and Art TLV Open in Jerusalem and Tel-Aviv

In Jerusalem and Tel-Aviv, two significant international exhibitions have commenced: the fifth iteration of Art Focus and Art TLV. Art TLV showcases locations such as the Helena Rubinstein Pavilion, which presents Open Plan Living, curated by Andrew Renton, and the House of Columns, featuring Artists Curate Artists. This event sets the stage for the inaugural Tel-Aviv biennial next year. Meanwhile, Art Focus, led by Bernard Blistène and Ami Barak, presents sixty-six artists from twenty-five nations under the theme Can Art Do More? Taking place in an incomplete building in Talpiyot, it encountered challenges for viewers. The film series included works by Uri Zohar, Chris Marker, and Pier Paolo Pasolini, yet the exhibition did not propose a new function for contemporary art.
