Art Düsseldorf 2026 Showcases Contemporary Works from Christian Jankowski, Julian Charrière, and Emerging Artists

Julian Charrière displays works from his Arctic expedition using underwater drones to capture dark ice formations, alongside "Empire," which features coconuts from the Marshall Islands wrapped in lead and stacked on an Inuit sled. Jody Korbach, a 1991-born graduate of Christopher Williams in Düsseldorf, presents paintings with beer brands as backgrounds and titles like "Kommst du jetzt mit saufen, oder was?" Her wall sculpture "Zähneputzen" incorporates half-eagles carved into a mirror cabinet. Gallery Sies + Höke creates a cohesive display with a colorful, AI-generated wallpaper by Hedda and Roman, featuring artists such as Andi Fischer, Gerhard Richter, and Daniel Richter. Esther Schipper's Berlin gallery stands out with works by Cemile Sahin, Simon Fujiwara, and Julius von Bismarck, including a fox sculpture by Norbert Bisky made from pop letter fragments.
